Description :  Thanks to our program of 24 days you deeply discover the specialty of South India through states such as Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Goa and Karnatka. Traveling in Tamil Nadu, you visit a number of Hindu temples that remind us the ancient Tamil culture. The state as Kerala is proud to be one of the greenest states in India. Enjoy also on the backwaters in the natural environment. The palaces in Karnataka introduce us the history of India. Enjoy exploring the historical cities like Mysore. In addition, we visit Goa and discover the mixture of Indian and European culture. Enjoy also on the beaches of the state.

Day  1
Chennai – Mahabalipuram 1 h30 by road 60 km
: Upon your arrival at the Chennai airport, we will welcome you with flowers in a traditional Indian way and without delay, we drive you to Mahabalipuram. Overnight at the luxury hotel.

Day  2
Mahabalipuram
Having spent a quiet night in the luxury hotel, we discover the city and explore the Dravidian architecture. We visit the most famous temples of southern India such as the Shore Temple, Mahabalipuram temple. Overnight at hotel.

Day   3
Mahabalipuram – Pondichery
2 h by road 100 km Next day we drive to Pondicherry which was formarly a major french colonies in India. We discover the mixture of french and tamilian culture. Enjoy also on the beaches of the city. Overnight in guest house.

Day   4
Pondichery
The fourth day of our trip is dedicated to the discovery of French influences in Pondicherry which is a city of sea front, wide boulevards, culture and french architecture. We can see the french influence in local food, buildings, art and culture. In addition, we can take sunbath on the beaches of the city. You may like to do Yoga and meditation. Overnight in hotel.

Pondichery – Thanjavur 5/6 hours by road 180 km
Travel to Thanjavur which is considered a major center of religion, art and architecture of South India. You can visit most of the alive big temples which are the Monuments of World Heritage like the Brihadeeswarare Temple, the Royal Palace of Thanjavur, the Maratha Palace of Tanjavur. Overnight in hotel.

Day   6
Thanjavur – Trichy – Thanjavur 3/4 hours by road 120 km
Continuing our discovery, we arrive at Trichy. The city was part of the traditional Chola Heartland and has a number of beautifully carved temples and forts: the Jambukeswarar Temple Thiruvanaikaval, Upper Anaicut, Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Rockfort. Before the end of the day we return to Thanjavur for the night at the hotel.

Thanjavur – Madurai 2 hours by road 90 km

Madurai 2 hours by road 65 km
In Madurai, we spend the eighth day of our trip visiting the great temples of the city, the Meenakshi Temple, Alagar temple Kodal the temples Marriamman Thepakkulam, Alagarkoli etc. In addition, we visit the Thirumalai Nayak Palace. Overnight at hotel.

Madurai – Periyar
Continuing our discovery, we come to the Western Ghats, which is a mountainous region between Kerala and Tamil Nadu in southern India. We discover the Periyar National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary where you will have the chance to see the different animals: elephants, tigers, bears etc.. Overnight in guest house.

Periyar – Backwaters 1 hour by road 30 km
Advancing our trip, we leave for the Vembanad Lake in the center of the Plain of Palai to have fun in the beautiful and peaceful environment. Overnight in guest house.

Houseboat on Backwaters
Next day, you take a Houseboat, a traditional boat. At this boat our representatives warmly welcome you for this unique adventure. The “backwaters” is the network of rivers, streams, lagoons, canals and reservoirs which occupie the beautiful plain between the Indian Ocean and the Western Ghats. Dinner and overnight on boat.

Backwaters- Kochi 3 hours by road 100 km
After spending the night on boat, next day, you go to Kochi where you have the chance to discover one of the beautiful cities of South India, Kochi. It is a commercial city and industrial capital of Kerala. Kochi is known as “The Queen of the Arabian Ocean”. We take the road to Fort Kochi. Overnight at the hotel.

Day   13
Fort Cochin
Fort Cochin is known as Old Kochi or West Kochi. It has a lot of historical buildings such as St. Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace, Bolghatty Palace and Jain temple. In addition, the city is also famous for fishing. Overnight in guest house.

Day   14
Kochi – Calicut (Kozhikode) or Connoor 200 h by road or 7 h by road 200 km ou 260 km
Kozhikode is the third largest city in Kerala. It is located on the Malabar coast. It is also known as the city of Vasco da Gama as it hosted him. Overnight at the hotel. Or Coonoor is the second largest hill station in the Nilgiri Hills. The area is well known for its plantations of tea. Calicut – Wayanad ou Coonoor – Ooty 2/3 h de route ou 1 h de route 80 km ou 20 km
Setting off to Wayanad which was previously known as Mayakshetra (Maya Earth). To reach Wayand we go through deep valleys, rich forest and jungle. The area is completly covered by rich forest. We also discover the lake “Pookkode Lake”. Overnight at resort. Or travel to Ooty which is one of the most beautiful hill stations in India, built by the British in the 19th century. It was the summer residence of Governors of Madras. We take special train to Ooty, called “Nilgiri Mountain Railway” to arrive at Ooty. Overnight at hotel.

Wayanad or Ooty – Mysore 3/4 h by road 150/130 km
Continuing our discovery, we take the road to Mysore which is the third largest city of Karnataka state. This is a historical town and well known worldwide for its palaces as “Maharaja Palace” and the Mysore paintings. In addition, we have the chance to discover the Chamundeshwari Temple. Overnight at hotel.

Mysore – Hassan or Chikmagalur 3/4 h by road or 5/6 h by road 120 km ou 180 km
Advancing our discovery, we travel to Hassan is a city of Karnatka. The name, Hassan refers to the goddess “Haasanamba”. The city is famous for the architecture of its temples: Chennakesava Temple, Halebidu Hoysalaeswara Temple. Overnight at hotel. Or Chikmagalur is a mountain resort in the state, Karnatka. The area is famous for planting coffee. That is why the city is known as “Coffee land”. Overnight at hotel.

Hassan or Chikmagalur – Halebid- Belur – Hassan or Chikmagalur 3/4 h by road roundtrip 100/120 km
Continuing our discovery, we arrive at Halebidu and Blur which is a town in Hassan district. The city was the capital of the Hoysala Empire in the 12th century. We discover Hoysala architecture in the temples : Hoysaleswara and Kedareswara. Before the end of the day we return to Hassan or Chikmagalur. Overnight at hotel.

Hassan or Chikmagalur – Hospet (Hampi) 7 h by road 300 km
Set off to Hospet which is a city located in the heart of Karnataka. The area is a world heritage site made ??by the ruins of the medieval city of Vijayanagara. In addition, we visit Tungabhadra Dam. Overnight at hotel.

Hampi
Hampi is located within the ruins of VijayanagaraW222, the former capital of the Vijayanagar empire. The village is famous for the ruins which is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We also find such temples Virupaksha temple and Vitthala temple. Overnight at hotel.

Day   21
Hospet (Hampi) – Badami ou Hubli 4/5 h de route 140/180 km
Departure to Hubli which is the largest commercial city of Karnataka after Bangalore. The city has several destinations to spend a good time. We visit Lake Unkal surrounded by the lovely garden. This is a very green area. Moreover we discover Chandramouleshwara Temple. Overnight at hotel. Or Departure to Badami which is a village located in the Bagalkot district. The village is famous for its cave temples, called Badami cave temples, for its forts like Fort Badami and for Bhutanatha Temple. Overnight at hotel.

Day   22
Hubli or Badami – Goa 5/6 h by road or 8/9 h by road 160 km ou 250 km
On the 22nd day, we drive to Goa. It is a journey of 5/6 hours drive from Hubli and 8/9 hours drive from Badami. Arrival in Goa, check in and overnight at the hotel.

Day   23
Goa
After our long journey, we dedicate the 23rd day of our trip relaxing on the beaches of Goa or visit the state capital, Panaji or we find the houses in the Portuguese style and the mixture of European and Indian cultures . Overnight at hotel.

Day   24
Goa – Mumbai 1 h by air 604 km
The last day of our trip, we take the flight to Mumbai and end of our services.
