Description :   Our program consists of the most popular destinations of Kerala to enjoy the natural atmosphere. Enjoy Ayurvedic treatments on the beaches of Pondicherry and on the Kovalam beach which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Kerala. The purpose of our trip is to provide you with Ayurvedic treatments and yoga classes for good health visiting the World Heritage monuments like the Brihadeeswarare Temple, the Royal Palace of Thanjavur, the Thanjavur Maratha Palace. Also, embark on a Houseboat, a traditional boat of Kerala. On the last step of our journey, stroll in the capital of Kerala state.

Day  1
Chennai – Mahabalipuram 1 h 30 by road 60 km
Upon arrival at the Bangalore airport usually at night, we welcome you with flowers in a traditional Indian way and without delay, we drive you to the luxury hotel for the night.

 Day  2

  Mahabalipuram – Pondichery 2 h by road 100 km
The next day we drive you to Pondicherry which was formarly a major French colony in India. We discover there the mixture of French and Tamil culture. Enjoy also on the beaches of the city. Arrival at the hotel, Ayurvedic treatments are availables and consult with ved (Ayurvedic doctor). Overnight at hotel.

Day   3 To 4
Pondichery
The third day of our trip is dedicated to the discovery of French influence in Pondicherry which is a city of seafront wide boulevards, culture and French architecture. We can see still the French influences in local food, buildings, art and culture. In addition, we can sunbathe on the beaches of the city. you will have the Yoga and meditation classes in hotel. Overnight in hotel.

Day   5
Pondichery – Thanjavur 3/4 h by road 210 km
Travel to Thanjavur which is considered a major center of religion, art and architecture of South India. You can visit most of the alive Great Temples of the World Heritage Monuments like Brihadeeswarare Temple, the Royal Palace of Thanjavur, the Thanjavur Maratha Palace. For Ayurvedic treatments, you will have Ayurvedic center at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day   6
Thanjavur – Chettinad 2 h by road roundtrip or 4 h by road 100 km ou 200 km
Drive to Chettinad which is rich in cultural heritage, art and architecture. It is well known for its charming houses embellished with marble and Burma teak. It is located in the region of the Sivaganga district of southern Tamil Nadu. you have Ayurvedic treatments and meditation classes at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day   7
Chettinad – Periyar 6 h by road 230 km
Having spent the night at the hotel early in the morning, proceed to Periyar. On our way, our first stop is Madurai to visit the great temples of the city, the Meenakshi Temple, Alagar temple Kodal the temples Marriamman Thepakkulam, Alagarkoli etc. Madurai is a sacred city for Hindous. Across the green landscape, we arrive at the Periyar National Reserve. Overnight in guest house.

Day  8
Periyar – Spices gardens 2/3 h by road 80 a 120 km
Our journey advances towards the spice gardens of 1000 meters in Kumily. At this altitude it pushes coffee, tea plants, as well as most of the spices used in Indian cuisine. However, before leaving in the morning, we discover the Periyar National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary where you will have the chance to see the different animals: elephants, tigers, bears etc. Ayurvedic treatment and massage are provided at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day   9
Spices gardens – Backwaters 2 h by road 65 km
Advancing our trip, we leave for the Vembanad Lake in the center of the Plain of Palai. You will get boats to sail on Lake Vembanad. In the afternoon you relax. Overnight in guest house.

Day   10
Houseboat on the Backwaters
The next day you embark on a “Houseboat”, a traditional boat. At the boat a team welcomes you and accompanies you to guide you through this unique adventure. The “backwaters” is the network of rivers, streams, lagoons and canals which occupie the beautiful plain between the Indian Ocean and the Western Ghats. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day   11
Backwaters – Kovalam 4 h by road 160 km
Enhance your relaxation experience on one of the wonderful beaches of India, Kovalam. It is ranked 14th among the 25 best beaches in Asia. At the hotel, you encounter ved (Ayurvedic doctor) for Ayurvedic treatments.

Day   12 To 13
Kovalam
Two days are devoted to Ayurvedic treatments, massages, meditation and relaxation on the beach, Kovalam.

Day   14
Kovalam – Trivandrum 30 min by road 20 km
Set off to Trivandrum, also known as Thiruvananthapuram. The city is the capital of Kerala and is known as “God’s own capital” like Kerala is known as “God’s own country”. In Trivandrum, there are several destinations that attract tourists such “Napier Museum” and “Trivandrum Zoo”. At last, you will be transfered to the airport according to your flight schedule.
