Description :   Tamil Nadu is the center of many natural resources, Hindu temples of Dravidian architecture, hill stations, beach resorts, multi-sites of religious pilgrimage. Be prepared to be amazed by the diversity of cultural influences visiting Kanchipuram which is a holy city for Hindous. The city was also the center of higher religious education for Jainism and Buddhism between the 1st and 5th centuries. Visit also Tiruvannamalai, the city of eternal and divine peace. The city is proud to have the sacred shrine of Lord Arunachaleswara. Our program also gives you the pleasure of visiting the Gingee Fort, built by the Chola dynasty. In addition, your eyes will see the magic of nature in “Elephant Valley” which is a wilderness surrounded by tea plantations and forest. Quickly we go through Madurai, the city of great temples such as the Meenakshi Temple, Alagar temple Kodal the temples Marriamman Thepakkulam, Alagarkoli. Day  1
Arrival at Chennai from Delhi : (2/3 h by air 2201 km)
Upon your arrival at the airport of Chennai, we will welcome you with flowers in a traditional Indian way and without delay, we drive you to the luxury hotel in Chennai for the night.

Day  2
Chennai – kanchipuram – Tiruvanamalai: (6 h by road 225KM)
Having spent the night at the hotel, early in the morning, we begin our exploration of Tamil Nadu setting off to Kanchipuram. This is a historical and religious town in southern India. It is one of the seven holy cities for Hindus. It has a number of famous temples: the temple Kailasanathar, the Ekambareswarar Temple, Kamakshi Amman temple. The city is also known for its silk sarees. Then we travel to Tiruvannamalai which is known for eternal peace and divine. The city is proud to possess the sacred shrine of Lord Arunachaleswara and many ashrams. It is a place of pilgrimage. Walking in the city, you meet a lot of sadhus and pilgrims from every corner of the country. Overnight at hotel.

Day   3
Tiruvanamalai – Gingee – Tirunamalai
Drive to Gingee. Gingee is a small village in Tamil Nadu state, but it is very famous for the Gingee Fort was built by the Chola dynasty. The Fort is the main point of attraction for tourists. In this box, we have a number of interesting places to visit: Kalyana Mahal, Mohammed Khan Mosque, Elephant tank, the Venugopala Swami Temple Temple etc.. After spending all day in this small village, we return to Tiruvanamalai for the night at the hotel.

Tiruvanamalai – Yercaud : (5 h by road 200 KM)
Travel to Yercaud which is a famous hill station in South India. It is also known as the Jewel of the South. Overnight at hotel.

Yercaud
In the morning we start our discovery at Yercaud visiting a lake which is known as the Yercaud Lake surrounded by trees. The forest in the surrounding of the lake is known as Lake Forest. As Yercaud is a charming hill station on the Western Ghats, trekking here can be one of the most enjoyable ways to spend time. Walking in the cool environment of Yercaud is fun. The city is also famous for the Annamalai temple. Overnight at hotel.

Day   6
Trichy
Continuing our discovery, we arrive at Trichy. The city was part of the traditional Chola Heartland and has a number of beautifully carved temples and forts: the Jambukeswarar Temple Thiruvanaikaval, Upper Anaicut, Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Rockfort. Overnight in guest house.

Day  7
Trichy – Elephant Valley (Kodaikanal) : (5 h by road 190 km)
Continuing our discovery, we arrive at “Elephant Valley” which is a wilderness surrounded by tea plantations and forest. It is located on 100 acres in the Palni hills of Tamil Nadu, an area of the Western Ghats in South India. Kodaikanal, the well-known hill station is just 20 kms. Overnight at the eco-lodge.

Elephant Valley (Kodaikanal)
The eighth day is devoted to relaxation and the discovery of natural magic. Overnight at the eco-lodge.

 Day   9

  Elephant Valley (Kodaikanal) – Madurai
Early in the morning we leave for Madurai to visit the great temples of the city, the Meenakshi Temple, Alagar temple Kodal the templs Marriamman Thepakkulam, Alagarkoli etc. In addition, we visit the Thirumalai Nayak Palace. Madurai is a great holy city, the Tamil cultural capital of the country and the sanctuary of Hinduism. Overnight at hotel.

 Day  10

  Madurai – Chettinad
Drive to Chettinad which is rich in cultural heritage, art and architecture. It is well known for its charming houses of marble and Burma teak. It is located in the region of the Sivaganga district of southern Tamil Nadu. Overnight at hotel.

 Day  11

  Chettinad – Thanjavur
Travel to Thanjavur which is considered a major center of religion, art and architecture of South India. You can visit most of the temples which are alive Great Temples of World Heritage Monuments of UNESCO like the Temple Brihadeeswarare , the Royal Palace of Thanjavur, the Palai Maratha Tanjavur. Overnight in hotel.

 Day   12

  Thanjavur – Pondichery
Early in the morning, our journey moves towards Pondicherry. However, on our way, we stop at Gangaikondacholapuram. It has one of the best known temples, Brihadishwara. The city was also the former capital of Chola, then we spend a little time in the market. Then we stop at Chidambaram where we visit one of the five shrines dedicated to Shiva. Arrival in Pondicherry, overnight hotel.

 Day   13

  Pondicherry
The 6th day of our trip is devoted to the discovery of french influences in Pondicherry which is a city of waterfront, wide boulevards, culture and French architecture. We can see the french influences in local food, buildings, art and culture. In addition, we can sunbathe on the beach in the city. Do yoga and meditation here. Overnight in hotel.

 Day  14

  Pondicherry – Mahabalipuram
Departure for Mahabalipuram which is a town listed as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We visit the Mahabalipuram temple which is a very famous temple in southern India and other temples in the form of tanks as well. Overnight in hotel.

  Mahabalipuram – Chennai airport
On the eighth day of our trip, we arrive at Chennai airport and our trip ends here.
