Description :   “Through our program, we travel Kerala God’s own Country Tamil Nadu, the state of the temples and the center of the ancient culture. We begin our discovery with Kochi which is a city in Kerala and is proud to have St. Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace, and Palace Bolghatty. Relaxing on the Marari beach of golden sand. Then our journey advances towards the “” Backwaters “” to embark on a Houseboat and towards Periyar, located in Idukki district to visit the Periyar National Park and Wildlife Reserve. Regarding Tamil Nadu, the state located in South India, you will be amazed by the diversity of cultural influences visiting the city like Madurai and Pondicherry which was previously one of the largest French colony in India. ”

Day  1
Arrival at Kochi airport from Delhi : (4/5 h by air 2594 km)
Upon your arrival at the airport in Nedumbassery Kochi, we will welcome you with flowers in a traditional Indian way and without delay, we drive you to the luxury hotel in Fort Cochin for the night.

Day  2
Kochi (Fort Cochin)
After spending the night in a luxury hotel, the next day you have the chance to discover one of the beautiful cities of South India, Kochi has full of historical buildings like St. Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace and Bolghatty Palace. In addition, the city is also famous for fishing. Overnight in guest house.

Day   3
Kochi – Marari Beach
The next day, we drive to Marari Beach. It is a clean and safe beach for swimming at Malabar Coast. You can have a lovely view of the sunset at Marari Beach. Overnight in hotel.

Day   4
Marari Beach – Houseboat in the backwaters : (43 min. 30.3 km)
Next day you take a Houseboat, a traditional boat. On this boat, a team warmly welcomes you for this unique adventure. The “backwaters” is the network of rivers, streams, lagoons, canals and reservoirs which occupie the beautiful plain between the Indian Ocean and the Western Ghats. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day   5
Backwaters – Periyar : (4 h by road 165Km)
We go to Periyar located in Idukki district of Kerala and visit the highlands of Cardamom Hills and Lake Periyar. There is also a very famous temple, called Sabarimala. In addition, we describe the Periyar National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary. It is notable as elephants and tigers reserve. Overnight in guest house.

Day   6
Periyar – Kodaikanal (Elephant Valley) : (3/4 h by road 120Km)
Continuing our discovery, we arrive at “Elephant Valley” which is a very charming place. It is located on 100 acres in the Palni hills, an area of the Western Ghats in South India. Overnight in the guest house.

Day  7
Elephant Valley
Elephant Valley is surrounded by tea plantations and forest. Kodaikanal, the well-known hill station is just 20 kms away. Overnight in the eco-lodge.

Day   8
Elephant Valley – Madurai
Departure to the discovery of one of the very famous city of temples, Madurai in Tamil Nadu. It has a rich cultural heritage passed down from great Tamul age over 2500 years old. Overnight in hotel.

Day   9
Madurai
In Madurai, we spend ninth day of our trip visiting the great temples of the city: The Meenakshi Temple, Alagar temple Kodal the templs Marriamman Thepakkulam, Alagarkoli etc. In addition, we visit the Thirumalai Nayak Palace. Overnight in hotel.

Day  10
Madurai – Chettinad
Drive to Chettinad which is rich in cultural heritage, art and architecture. It is well known for its charming houses of marble and Burma teak. It is located in the region of the Sivaganga district of southern Tamil Nadu. Overnight in hotel.

Day  11
Chettinad – Tanjavur
On the 11th day, we travel to Thanjavur which is considered a major center of religion, art and architecture of South India. You can visit most of the alive Great Temples which are World Heritage Monuments like the Brihadeeswarare Temple, the Royal Palace of Thanjavur, the Palai Maratha Tanjavur. Overnight in hotel.

Day   12
Tanjavur – Trichy – Tanjavur : (1 h and 5 mint. by road 57.1 km)
Continuing our discovery, we arrive at Trichy. The city was part of the traditional Chola Heartland and has a number of beautifully carved temples and forts. After the discovery of places worthy of being visited at Trichy, we return to Thanjavur and spend night in guest house.

Day   13
Tanjavur – Pondicherry : (3 h and 25 min by road 167Km)
We leave for Puducherry, Puducherry name changed from Pondicherry in October 2006, which is a city of sea front, wide boulevards, culture and French architecture. Overnight in hotel.

Day  14
Pondicherry
The 14th day of our trip is devoted to the discovery of french influences in Pondicherry. We can see the french influence in local food, buildings, art and culture. In addition, we can sunbathe on the beach in the city. Overnight in hotel.

Day  15
Pondicherry – Mahabalipuram – Chennai airport
The last day of our trip, we leave for the airport but on the way, we pass by Mahabalipuram. Mahabalipuram Temple is a beautiful temple, then we derive to the airport in Chennai and our trip ends here.
