Discovering The Majestic Sikkim Kingdom

Day  1
Arrival in Delhi
On your arrival in Delhi, we will welcome you at the airport and take you to your hotel in the centre of Delhi, where you will stay the night. You will have the rest of the day to relax.

Day  2
Delhi – Darjeeling (2130 m) [1H1/2 of flight and 2 H by road]
In the morning, you will be taken to the airport where you will board your flight for Bagdogra. On arrival, you will be driven to Darjeeling, where you will check in at you hotel, where you will stay the night. You will have the rest of the day to relax.

Day   3
Darjeeling (2130 m)
In the morning, you will be taken on a sightseeing tour of Darjeeling. Take the evening off to spend time at your leisure. The night will be spent at the hotel.

Day   4
Darjeeling – Yuksom (1900 m) [3 H by road]
In the morning, we will drive towards the village of Yuksom, located at 1900m above sea level. On the way, we will visit the village of Tashiding and walk to Tashiding Gompa, one of the most beautiful and holy monasteries in Sikkim. In Yuksom, we will visit the village and its monastery, located 45 minutes aways. You are free to spend the evening at your leisure. The night will be spent at your guesthouse.

Day   5
Yuksom – Tshoka (3100 m) [6H walk]
We will start off with a trek towards Tshoka in the the morning. Once we arrive, take some time to relax in Tshoka where we will spend the night.

Day   6
Tshoka – Phedang (3700 m) [2/3 H walk]
We will take the day to acclimatize, then take a short walk to the mountain pastures of Phedang at the edge of a forest, depending on the weather. We will then return to the camp where we will stay another night.

Day  7
Tshoka – Dzongri (4100 m) [3 H walk]
In the morning, we start climbing towards Dzongri, where we will take time to relax on arrival and stay the night.

Day   8
Dzongri – Samiti Lake (4200 m) [5/6 H walk]
We will start walking towards Thagshing (3900m) in the morning, cross the Prek Chu river and continue north towards Kangchenjunga. We will then keep climbing until we reach lake Samiti and camp there for the night

Day   9
Samiti Lake – Goetcha La – Samiti Lake (4200 m) [5/6 H walk]
In the morning, we will continue climbing until we reach the pass of Goecha-La (4,800) and then go back down to our campsite at Samiti, where we will spend the night.

Day   10
Samiti Lake – Thangshing (3850 m) [2 H walk]
We start trekking down towards Thangshing in the morning. Once we reach, you will have the rest of the day to relax, before spending the night at the camp site.

Day   11
Thangshing – Tshoka (3100 m) [6 H walk]
In the morning, we will walk down back to Tshoka and its surrounding forest. We will camp there for the night.

Day   12
Tshoka – Yuksom (1900 m) [4/5 H walk]
On this 12th days, we will start walking back to Yuksom where we will check in at the guest-house upon arrival. You will have the evening to relax.

Day   13
Yuksom – Darjeeling (2130 m) [4/5 H by road]
The next morning, we will drive back to Darjeeling in a private car. You will check in at your hotel upon arrival.

Day   14
Darjeeling – Delhi (2130 m) [2 H by road and 1. 30 of flight]
We will transfer to Bagdogra airport in the morning, where you will board your flight back to Delhi. In Delhi, you will be taken to your hotel in the city center and have the rest of the day to relax.

Day   15
Delhi – International airport
You will be free to spend this last day in India at your leisure before boarding your international flight in the evening.
