Description :  Our program of Rajasthan to Varanasi gives you the chance to discover the richness of India visiting the great forts and magnificent palaces in Rajasthan. Many tourists from all over the world visit this state of Maharajah each year. Our program is also special because it also gives you the chance to improve your experience by visiting the famous monuments in Delhi. In fact, our journey begins with a visit to monuments such as Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and Humayun’s Tomb etc. After the discovery of the richness of this beautiful city, we come to Jaipur where we visit the Ambar fort, the City Palace, Hawaa Mahal, Jantar Mantar etc. In addition, you will be amazed by the view of the Taj Mahal which is a mausoleum of white marble and one of the seven wonders of the world. Finally, the temples at Khajuraho and Varanasi create the spiritual feeling in your heart.

Day  1
Arrival at Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi airport, we welcome you with flowers in a traditional Indian way then we drive to the luxury hotel. Overnight at a luxury hotel.

Day  2
Delhi
After breakfast, we go to Old Delhi. In Old Delhi, we will discover the Mughal architecture with a visit to the Jama Mosque which was built in 1656 by Shah Jahan, the Mughal emperor. Then we go to the Red Fort through Chandni Chowk. This fort was built in 1648 by Shah Jahan as well. Then our journey advances towards the new Delhi where we have the chance to visit Raj Ghat which is the spot of cremation of Mahatma Gandhi. He is known as the Father of the Nation. In addition, we arrive at India Gate. It was built in 1931 in memory of the Indian soldiers who died during the First World War. We can see the names of the soldiers inscribed on the walls. Other places that are worthy to be visited are the President’s House, the official residence of the President of India and the Humayun’s Tomb which is the first example of this type of Mughal architecture in India. Finally we visit the Qutub Minar which is a fine example of Indo-Islamic architecture in India. Overnight at hotel.

Day   3
Delhi – Jaipur (5 h by road 262 km)
On the next day, we leave for Jaipur which is also known as the “Pink City”. It is the capital of Rajasthan. In 1728, the Prince of Amber, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II who founded it. The city is well known worldwide for its beautiful palaces and great forts. If time permits and if you want to discover typical Rajasthani culture, we can visit Chokhi Dhani. It is an ethnic village at a distance of 15 km from Jaipur. Overnight at hotel in Jaipur.

 Day   4

  Jaipur
The fourth day of our trip is dedicated to the discovery of Jaipur. In the morning we visit the Amber fort, the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar etc. Overnight at a luxury hotel.

Day   5
Jaipur – Agra via Fatehpur Sikri (6 h by road 260 km)
On the next day, we take the road to Agra which is a famous city of Uttar Pradesh state. The city is also known as the city of Taj Mahal. On our way, we stop at Fatehpur Sikri. It was the political capital of the Mughal Empire of India during the reign of Akbar. At Fatehpur Sikri, we visit the largest fort in the city. After a short break we restart our trip and move towards Agra. Overnight at a luxury hotel.

Day   6
Agra : Excursion to Mathura & Vrindavan (2 h by road 60 km)
Continuing our discovery, we will be amazed by the view of the Taj Mahal which India is proud of. The monument was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal. Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world. In addition, we visit the Red Fort in the city. Following the discovery of Agra, we take the road to Delhi. On our way, we visit Mathura & Vrindavan. Mathura is the holy city for Hindus and known as the place of birth of Lord Krishna. Arrival in Mathura we visit Shri Krishna Janmabhumi. In Vrindavan, we will see the Bankey Bihari temple which is famous for the black statue of Krishna. Before the end of the day, we return to Agra and spend the night at the hotel.

Day  7
Agra – Jhansi (Shatabdi Exp) Jhansi – Khajuraho via Orchha (5 h by train 166 km)
On the seventh day of our trip early in the morning, we leave for the railway station and take the Shatabdi Express train to Jhansi. Arrival at Jhansi, we meet the driver of our private vehicle. Then we drive to Khajuraho. On our way to Khajuraho, we stop at Orchha to visit its magnificent palaces and charming temples of the 16th century. These monuments were built by Bundela. After discovering the richness of this city, we go to Khajuraho which was built by the mighty warrior kings of the Chandela dynasty. Overnight at hotel.

Day   8
Khajuraho
The eighth day of our trip is dedicated to discovering the richness of Khajuraho. The temples of the city are famous for its beautiful sculptures depicting numerous exotic postures of Kamasutra. We will visit temples such as the Adinath Temple, the Shantinath Temple, Matangeshwara Temple etc. In the evening, we enjoy the traditional spectacle. Overnight at hotel.

Day   9
Khajuraho – Varanasi ( 1 h by air 400 km )
Continuing our discovery, our journey moves towards Varanasi. For that, we go to the airport and take the flight to Varanasi. It is a holy city for Hindus and is situated on the banks of the holy river Ganges. The city is also known for the life of Buddha. We visit Sarnath of which it is said that it is the place where Gautam Buddha gave his first sermon about the basic principles of Buddhism. Overnight at hotel.

Day   10
Varanasi – Delhi ( 1 h 30 by air 793 km )
The last day of our trip, we enjoy a boat ride on the Ganges River. Adding charm to our trip, we get up before dawn and improve our experience with its breathtaking views of sunrise and the sound of temple bells, situated on the banks of the river. In addition, we have the chance to walk around the city. Finally, we take the flight to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, our services end.
