Description :  Our program of Assam gives you the chance to see the magic of nature. Assam is a northeastern state of India and is surrounded by six of the seven sisters States: Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Meghalaya. Assam is like paradise for those who love nature, animals and wildlife. Through our program, you will hike on horseback across the region of tea plantations. Enjoy a picnic along the Brahmaputra river and you may also like the ride on the back of an elephant among wild elephants, sambhars, wild boar and rhino Kaziranga National Park. Also visit Sibsagar, the capital of Ahom kingdom which is famous for its monuments, palaces and temples such as the “Sivadol Temple”. During your journey, an expert team of horses would accompany you.

Day  1
Destination of Destination:  Arrival at Delhi : Upon arrival at Delhi airport, we welcome you with flowers in a traditional Indian way then we drive to the luxury hotel. Overnight at a luxury hotel.

Day  2
Delhi – Dibrugarh 4 h by air – 1/2 h ride After spending the night in a luxury hotel, in the morning we drive you to the Delhi airport for the flight to Dibrugarh. In Dibrugarh, our team warmely welcomes you. We arrive at the hotel for check in and in the afternoon, we begin our horse ride to familiarize ourselves with the horses. We cross the tea plantations. Overnight at hotel.Standard: Heritage Chang Bungalow: In the middle of the 19th century, the British began to establish their tea plantations and at the same time, they built the royal bungalows to survive. It is said that the word “Chang” is a word of the local language and it means”built on stilts”. The bungalows protect you from heavy rain, wild animals. Given that they have better ventilation, you are not afraid of the heat.

Day   3
Dibrugarh – Heritage Tea Trial 4 h ride On the next day, we take our breakfast and start our hike in the tea plantations for which Assam is known everywhere. During our trip, we improve our knowledge of the origins and culture of tea. We also visit a tea factory and we have the chance to talk to the workers to gain more knowledge about these plantations. In addition, we will taste the different qualities of tea. We continue our ride and arrive at the Greenwood Tea Estate where we take our lunch. In the afternoon we return to Dibrugarh and we enjoy cultural programs in the evening. Overnight in bungalow.

Day   4
Dibrugarh – Banks of the Brahmaputra 3/4 h ride The 4th day of our trip is the day of the picnic along the Brahmaputra River. We go through the course of the Brahmaputra and we also visit one or two villages which are located on the banks of the river. In the villages, we have the chance to meet local people and we discover the local culture. Before the end of the day, we return to Dibrugarh and spend the night in a bungalow.

Day   5
Dibrugarh – Cruise on the Brahmaputra 3/4 h ride After breakfast, we continue our ride and arrive at a plantation along the Brahmaputra River. At the bank of the river, we take a boat that drives us to an island in the middle of the Brahmaputra. On the island which is full of tropical plants and birds, we walk and we will also enjoy picnic and our lunch. Before the end of the day, we return to Dibrugarh. Overnight in bungalow.

Day   6
Dibrugarh – Sibsagar – Kaziranga National Park 5 h by road 220 km On the next day, our journey moves towards Kaziranga National Park. On the way we visit the city Sibsagar which was the capital of the Ahom kingdom and called “Rangpur” in that era. The city is also known as Sivasagar which means “Ocean of Shiva”. It is famous for its monuments, palaces and temples such as the “Sivadol Temple”. Finally, in the evening, we reach Kaziranga National Park and immediately we will transfer you to the lodge. Comfort: Bon Habi lodge: The lodge where we spend the night is located near the Kaziranga National Park. It has 14 modern and comfortable cottages in the heart of the tropical forest.

Day  7
Kaziranga National Park The 7th day of our trip is devoted to jeep safari in the central and western part of Kaziranga National Park. In the park, we will experience the wildlife and look at a lot of animals. We can also see a horned rhinoceros which are rare. Before the end of the day, we return to the lodge for the night.

Day   8
Kaziranga National Park – Dibrugarh 5 h by road 220 km In the morning, we take again the road to Kaziranga National Park in order to discover the centre part of the park. This time we enjoy the ride on the back of the elephant among wild elephants, sambhars, boars and rhinos. Before the end of the afternoon we return to Dibrugarh. Arrival at Dibrugarh, we spend the night in a bungalow.

Day   9
Dibrugarh – Tropical Forest 4 h ride Continuing our ride, we hike through the forest tropical and follow the road that leads to the heart of the rich forest. In addition, we also visit some tribal villages where you will discover the tribal culture and tribal life. For lunch, we return to Dibrugarh. The afternoon is free. Overnight in bungalow.

Day   10
Dibrugarh – Mancotta – Dibrugarh 2/3 h ride On the 10th day of our trip, we continue our ride through the plantation until the afternoon. And if you want, you have the chance to visit a weaving workshop to improve your experience or you can relax Overnight bungalow.

Day   11
Dibrugarh – Delhi 4 h by air Early in the morning we arrive at the airport and take the flight to Delhi. The afternoon is free. Overnight at hotel.

Day   12
Delhi – International Airport In the morning of the last day of our trip, you have the chance to visit Old Delhi in a private vehicle. In Old Delhi, you can discover the Mughal architecture visiting the Red Fort and the Grand Mosque. If you want, you can also enjoy shopping. Depending on your international flight schedule, we drive you to the Delhi airport and drop you there. Our services end here.
