Description :   It is little wonder that Rajasthan is one of the most visited regions in India… We offer to discover this rich and beautiful land of the Maharajas, travelling on horseback across dry sandy plains and beautiful mountainous landscapes. Discover the magic of Udaipur, the city on the lake, the Jain architecture of Narlai and Ranakpur, gaze at the marvels hidden in the Kumbhalgarh citadel and at the raw beauty of blue city of Jodhpur from the thick walls of the Mehrangarh fort.

Package Details

Day  1
Flight Delhi – Udaipur
We will fly to Udaipur in the morning, where we will pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel. We will then take you on a tour of this beautiful city, built around lake Pichola and surrounded by mountain crests. You can visit the city streets and its many articrafts and jewellery shops and take a boat ride on the gorgeous Pichola lake.

Day  2
Udaipur – Kumbhalgarh [4 H – 160 Km]
On this second day, we will head for Kumbhalgarh in the morning, driving through the dry mountainous landscape of the region. We will stop along the way to visit some traditional villages. In Kumbhalgarh, we will explore the magnificent citadel and its many gardens, gardens and palaces. We will spend the night in a boutique hotel.

Day   3
Kumbhalgarh – Ghanerao
We begin the horseback riding portion of our trip, through the green landscapes of the Aravalli mountains. After crossing the Thadiveri natural reserve, we will follow a beautiful path through the woods to the semi-arid plain of the Marwar region. We will spend the night in Ghanerao, at the bottom of the Aravali mountain range.

Day   4
Ghanerao – Narlai
We will visit the Ghanerao village, know for its traditional handicrafts. We will then get back on our horses towards Narlai, a village located midway between Udaipur and Jodhpur, where you can visit the many surrounding Jain temples. Narlai also offers an amazing view of the region: you can gaze at the Aravali Range to the south and the Marwar plain to the north. We will spend the night in the fort.

Day   5
Narlai – Ranakpur
We will head to the southwest through the plains and then approaching the mountains as we reach the village of Ranakpur, with its renowned Jain temple dedicated to Adinatha. We will spend the night in a boutique hotel.

Day   6
Ranakpur – Ghanerao
This is our last day on horseback. We head back towards Ghanerao, following a winding path under the shade of the trees. We then continue on through the sandy plains and visit the temples in the village of Desuri. We will spend the night at the Ghanerao fort.

Day  7
Ghanerao – Jodhpur [4 H – 160 Km]
We set off early in the morning for Jodhpur, the “blue city” overlooked by a gigantic fort which we will visit the next day. We will take this day to explore this mesmerising city, walking through the narrow streets, before checking into our hotel.

Day   8
Jodhpur, then flight Jodhpur – Delhi [1 H 15 flight]
Visit of the Mehrangarh fort in the morning. One of the largest forts in India, it is located 122 metres above the city and protected by thick walls. It was built by Maharaja Man Singh in the 15th century and contains many amazing rooms and palaces. After this visit, you will board your flight back to Delhi.
