Description :   Kerala is a state located in South India. This is a state where you can see the magic of nature. More than 40 rivers are flowing forming a complex of canals and lakes called the Kerala Backwaters. Kerala is also known as God’s own Country. This is one of the greenest states in India and is famous for its tea plantations, beaches and Ayurvedic practices. In addition, you have the chance to visit Munnar where you stroll through the tea plantations. Then, have fun on Backewaters . Finally, our journey ends with relaxation and meeting with the fishermen on the beaches of the Malabar coast.

Day  1
Arrival at Kochi (Fort Cochin) from Delhi 4/5 hours by air 2594 km
Upon your arrival at the airport in Nedumbassery Kochi, we will welcome you with flowers in a traditional Indian way and without delay, we drive you to the luxury hotel in Fort Cochin for the night.

Day  2
Kochi (Fort Cochin)
After spending the night in a luxury hotel, the next day you have the chance to discover one of the beautiful cities of South India which is full of historical buildings like St. Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace and Bolghatty Palace. In addition, the city is also famous for fishing. Overnight in guest house.

Day   3
Kochi – Munnar
5 hours by road 140 km Set off to Munnar from Kochi. On your way, wherever you see, you will see the magic of nature, the great mountains where you discover the tea plantations and beautiful environment. Overnight in guest house.

Day   4
Munnar
In Munnar, you spend your day discovering the natural reserve of Eravikulam and rich forest where Nilgiri Thar, the mountain goats could be seen. Overnight in guest house.

Day   5
Munnar – Elephant Valley Resort 5/6 hours by road 180 km
Continuing our discovery, we arrive at “Elephant Valley” which is a wilderness surrounded by tea plantations and forest. It is located on 100 acres in the Palni hills of Tamil Nadu, an area of the Western Ghats in South India. Kodaikanal, the well-known hill station is just 20 kms away. Overnight in the eco-lodge.

Elephant Valley Resort – Periyar 3/4 hours by road 120 km
We spend the sixth day of our journey to discover the Periyar National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary which is notable as a reserve of elephants and tigers. It is located in Idukki and Pathanamthitta district of Kerala. Overnight in guest house.

Day  7
Periyar – Spices gardens 2 hours by road 90 km
Our travel advances to the gardens of spices of 1000 meters at Kumily. At this altitude it pushes coffee, tea plants, as well as most of the spices used in Indian cuisine. Night in hotel.

Day   8
Spices gardens – Backwaters 2 hours by road 65 km
Advancing our trip, we leave for the Vembanad Lake in the center of the Plain Palais. You will find there the boats to sail on Lake Vembanad. Overnight in guest house.

 Day   9

   Houseboat on the Backwaters
Next day, you embark on a Houseboat, a traditional boat. At this boarding a team warmly welcomes you and accompanies you to guide you through this unique adventure. The “backwaters” is the network of rivers, streams, lagoons, canals and reservoirs which occupies the beautiful plain between the Indian Ocean and the Western Ghats. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day   10
Backwaters – Malabar Coast : Marari Beach 1 hour by road 30 km
Having disembarked around 9:30 am, we drive you to Marari Beach which is a clean and safe beach for swimming at Malabar Coast. You can have a lovely view of the sunset at Marari Beach. Night in hotel.

Malabar Coast : Marari Beach
You spend the days in getting relaxed.

Day   13
Malabar Coast – Airport de Kochi 3 hours by road 100 km
Departure for Kochi airport according to the flight schedule. End of our trip.
