Corbett National Park is India’s first National Park and is so named after the famous Hunter turned Naturalist and conservationist, Jim Corbett. India’s most successful program for the protection of the National animal – Tiger – The Project Tiger was launched here. There are options to opt for dawn or dusk Elephant/Jeep safari through dense forests, slopes, rivers, grassy plains there are chances , you might spot Tigers, Wild elephants, variety of Deers, Sambhars, Wild Boars, Leopards & birds like: Green Barbet, King fisher, Indian Pied Hornbill, Blossom headed Parakeet, Grey Tit etc. In this program , you also visit Nainital, a small beautiful hill station with the famous Naini Lake . The area around the city has some excellent habitat for many rare species of Himalayan birds.

Once arrived at the Delhi airport, we welcome you with flowers in the traditional Indian way. Then, without delay, we take you to the Corbett National Park, where you spend the night.

Day   2
Corbett
The next day you visit Corbett National Park. The park is located in two districts – Nainital and Pauri – in the state of Uttaranchal in northern India. It covers an area of 521 km and the “Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary” and forest reserve areas; they form the Corbett Tiger Reserve that extends over 1288 sq. km. Overnight at the hotel.

You spend your day at the park, to meet the many plant and animal species that reside here. Geographically located between the Himalayas and the Terai, the Corbett National Park has a remarkable variety of landscapes. Streams, rivers and ridges crisscrossing the terrain form a living mosaic of habitat many plant and animal species. The most famous residents of Corbett are the Bengal tiger and the Asian elephant, but with about 600 species of volatile, Corbett is one of the richest bird regions of India. Overnight at the hotel.

Corbett- Nainital 3H 142kms
The next day, you go to Nainital which is a small hill station full of surprises. The city is home to the famous lake that bears his name. The city has many places to see, as the Naina Devi Temple, which was destroyed by the landslides of 1880 and later rebuilt. It is located on the northern shore of Naini Lake. You can also visit the zoo nainital. This zoo hillside at high altitude has some large enclosures containing animals Himalayas, Siberian tigers, leopards and many species of pheasants. Overnight at the hotel.

Nainital
Today you enjoy this day to visit Nainital Lake. This lake has an altitude of 1935 m. Its maximum length is 1434 meters and its width is 463metres. The depth of this lake is between a maximum of 28 meters and a minimum of 6 meters. This beautiful lake is the centerpiece of Nainital room and is said to be one of the emerald green eyes of Shiva’s wife, Sati. Nainital has some unique features. By far the biggest attraction is provided by the Naini Lake. Overnight at the hotel.

Nainital- Delhi 5H 40mins 308kms
Today, you go back to Delhi. We accompany you to the airport according to your flight schedule. End of our services.
