It celebrates the birth of the first Sikh Guru.Gurdwara Nankana Sahib, Pakistan is the birthplace of Guru Nanak.
Guru Nanak was the founder of Sikhism, and was born on 15 April 1469 in Talwandi in Shekhupura District of Pakistan, now Nankana Sahib. His birth is celebrated on Kartik Poornima, i.e., the day of the full moon in the month of Kartik. The celebrations usually start with Prabhat Pheris.

The quaint town of Nagaur, a picturesque of the Rajput townships sure does stir to life with the Nagaur cattle fair that is the second largest fair out there and is held every year in Magh i.e. the month in Hindu calendar.
It is a very well renowned fair that is well-known for the trading of cows, bulls, horses and even camels while their owners wear colorful robes and flaunt long moustaches!
Try imaging over 80,000 of the cattle breeds gathering for the fair and all flocked together and you might realize just how big this fest is.
Holi festival in India- color rains!
One of the most traditionally acclaimed and a well-known Indian festival is that of Holi where the history of Indian gods unites; the triumph of good over evil is marked by this festival!
It is marked by burning down a statue and destruction of the demoness named Holika as it was unwavering devotion towards Lord Vishnu and the festival gets its name from the demoness.

Desert festival – Jaisalmer beauty!
Known as a vibrant and joyous festival in the Golden city of Jaisalmer, the desert festival of music and culture blend in Rajasthan is worth a visit!
This three day festival that is from the 23-25 February is planned by Rajasthan tourism and begins with a pompous ceremonial procession known as the Shobha Yatra.
Rajputs and other members of the royal order dress up for the procession in their traditional and ritualistic attires and are followed by a huge crowd whenever the procession goes.
